Even the driver available form my motherboard vendor, is having issues. I must have installed every driver available in the last 3 years and I keep having the same issue. I've refrained from sharing the smaller-sized updates seeing as most don't work for many of us.

Well, the driver comes with Waves MaxxAudio software, which really improves the audio quality, problems started after upgrading from Windows 8 to 8. Before that I had a Logitech 2. When I hooked them up for the first time they sounded horrible, with almost no midrange and no bass at all. I changed the speakers size in the MaxxAudio control panel from "small" to "medium" and the problem was solved immediately. There is no interference or noise, but there is a bigger problem
